Okay, so here's the skinny on the workshop being held September 26-30th, 2011.
The 3 day workshop will be packed with information ranging from the importance of proper white balancing and use of a flash meter, to intensive, hands-on training in the studio covering lighting patterns and ratios as well as posing techniques, both classic and contemporary. We'll go outdoors and learn proper balancing of flash and ambient light along with subtractive lighting techniques. You'll get an in-depth look into my "four dimensions" of portraiture, learn how to conduct a successful photo session, handle clients, create loads of variety and have fun! We'll cover session workflow and efficient, time saving ways to handle the images and clients AFTER the session as well.
Bring your DSLR camera and laptop, because we'll also cover Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop retouching techniques and exploring creative ways for print finishing. This is going to be a class unlike any other. With class size limited to just 10, it's the next best thing to getting private training in a studio loaded with professional, state of the art equipment! Get your hands on a Virtual Background system and experience the possibilities it can offer you! All for only $495.00!

But wait! There's more! An optional 4th day is included at no extra charge! After three days of intensive hands-on work in the studio, Trevon will lead a photo safari to one of his favorite places, Glacier National Park. It's a full day spent experiencing the "Crown of the Continent" with an easy hike to the Continental Divide. Last year's class attendees had a great time!
Lunch and refreshments are provided each day. We have a couple of lodging options within walking distance of our studio, one of which is on fabulous Flathead Lake. They fill up fast, so call us for information. Upon registration, we will send you lodging and recreational info in the area, as well as what equipment to bring and clothing suggestions too!
Here is what previous attendees have to say of their experience:
"Whether you are a seasoned photographer or just starting out, I've found Trevon's courses to cover a wealth of information. They are always an enjoyable learning experience and I leave with new ideas and renewed enthusiasm!" - Shauna, Alberta
"Trevon is a fantastic instructor! His goal is for you to learn and will take the time necessary to make sure you understand the techniques being shared. I would recommend to anyone interested in taking their portraiture to the next level work Trevon. And what an incredible background to work in! You won't regret it! ~ Janel Randall
